Cookies and local storage

This site sets only strictly necessary first-party cookies required for it to work (form antiforgery protection and recording your cookie-bar choice) — these are exempt from consent under the ePrivacy Directive. The optional language-preference cookie is set only after you accept in the bar; declining removes it.

Cookies

Name Purpose Type / settings Lifetime
csrf_session Antiforgery (CSRF) protection for the trial-access form and admin actions. Without it the form cannot be submitted. Strictly necessary (first-party), HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax 12 hours
cookie_consent Records your choice in the cookie bar (accept / necessary only) so we can honour it on your next visit. It serves no other purpose. Strictly necessary (first-party), SameSite=Lax 180 days
lang Remembers your language choice for your next visit. Set only after you accept cookies. Optional functional (first-party), only after accepting 180 days
bankid_state Protects the Bank iD login round-trip against abuse (signed state + PKCE code within OIDC). Deleted once the login finishes or expires. Strictly necessary (first-party), SameSite=Lax, HttpOnly 10 minutes
bankid_verified A signed record of the completed Bank iD verification (name, email, anonymous identifier) so the form can be pre-filled and the request marked as verified. Deleted when the request is submitted. Strictly necessary (first-party), SameSite=Lax, HttpOnly 15 minutes
bankid_lang Remembers your chosen form language while you are redirected to Bank iD and back. Strictly necessary (first-party) 10 minutes

Browser local storage (localStorage)

The items below are not cookies — they never travel to the server and only store your preferences in this browser. Listed for completeness:

theme Remembers your light / dark theme toggle. localStorage, first-party, not a cookie until cleared by the browser
beta Remembers the hidden hardware display toggle used for presentations. localStorage, first-party, not a cookie until cleared by the browser
